EYFS Funded childcare options.
At Stepping Stones Montessori Nursery and Pre School, we have qualified EYFS practitioners that work closely with all the local primary schools. We offer flexible childcare which means that you don’t have to worry about the transition process into Primary School.

Universal Funding
All parents/carers are entitled to receive 15 hours of funded EYFS childcare the term after their child’s third birthday (for example if your child is born on the 2nd April you will receive funding from the September for the Autumn term). The nursery will apply for the universal 15 hours for you. You will receive an EYFS funding form a few months before the term commences which must be completed prior to term starting.
Additional 15 hours funding - Extended
Some parents/carers are also entitled to receive an additional 15 hours funded childcare, provided they meet the eligibility criteria (please check details on www.gov.co.uk) If you are eligible for this funding , you will need to start the application process a few months before the term starts to ensure we receive an eligibility code in plenty of time.
Flexible Options
In the Pre-school, we offer flexible sessions to fit in with families that work part time.
You can choose full days 08:00-18:00, half days (08:00 – 13:00 or 13:00 – 18:00) and school days (09:00-15:00).
The funding is available for 38 weeks of the year (term time) but we also offer the option to ‘stretch’ this throughout 51 weeks the year. We also have a limited number of term time only contracts available.
